Choose the rack format and termination architecture first. A loaded Cat6 panel and an unloaded modular panel serve different purchasing and maintenance needs.
Loaded or modular
- DT-2024 is listed as a Cat6 24-port loaded panel in 19-inch 1U format.
- DT-KK2024 is listed as a 24-port unloaded panel in 19-inch 1U format.
- For an unloaded panel, specify the compatible jacks separately; do not assume every module fits.
Prepare a quote-ready BOM
- State rack width, port count, category, shielding and the planned jack type.
- Review rear cable clearance, cable support, labelling and service access.
- Ask for drawings and agree sample approval and installed-link test requirements.
